The Famous Coffee Table Tray

What is a coffee table without a coffee table tray?!

If you’re anything like me, the coffee table tray can become a “catch all”, BUT DON’T LET IT! When it comes to our tray, I like to keep it simple.

I picked up this wooden tray from Home Goods for $24.99. It is Tommy Bahama brand, and I absolutely love the wood tones and carved out handles.

A plant is always a must. I used an Aloe Vera plant that was gifted to me by student. Believe it or not, this plant was once the size of my hand. I re-potted it in this adorable planter from T.J. Maxx, and it has been thriving ever since.

I scooped up these three white candlesticks from a local antique store. The candles are from Home Goods…I always stock up on basic candles from Home Goods/TJ Maxx, because let’s be honest, price.

The candle snuffer was passed down to me from my mom. She has an incredible collection of gorgeous candle snuffers.

Now, the question is… does my tray look like this 100% of the time? NO! I wish. Yes, it occasionally collects remote controls, a random pen, bobby pin, or drink coaster. I do my best to keep the junk away, because when it looks like this, it makes my heart happy… it’s the little things.

I will add/change some things here or there for holiday or seasonal decor. But again, if I’m being transparent, our house is on the smaller side and the more things, the more overwhelming it looks to me. I am all about easy on the eyes!!
